Anastasia and Dominick’s wedding was a modern vision of heaven. They chose a color scheme of black and white with mixed metals: gold, silver, and rose gold. An Affair to Remember planned every last detail of the intricate festivities, and Kristen Weaver Photography did incredible work capturing all the beauty.

As patrons of the arts, it was filling that their ceremony and reception took place at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing ArtsRaining Roses Productions designed out-of-this-world trees to line the aisle of their ceremony, which took place in an ethereal theatre, dripping with crystals, candles, floral, and feathers.  Angels and ballerinas danced up the aisles at their ceremony, which highlighted their theme of heaven on earth and created incredibly memorable nuptials. For this amazing wedding, we created silky-smooth ceremony programs with black covers foiled in rose gold, with interior pages printed in black on white.  Another notable moment at the ceremony was the entrance of “ring security,” carrying the couple’s ring and a sign.

At the reception, our white menus were placed on top of glass chargers, coordinating with the all-white and clear decor.  The menus were personalized to contain each guest’s name and specific entree selection.  We used flat-printed silver, rose gold, black, and gold to indicate each of the couple’s four meal options, so servers could instantly see which meal each guest had selected.

Anastasia and Dominick have a history of music throughout their relationship, and they asked us to create double-sided lyric signs for each table.  We printed the lyric that expressed their desired sentiment, and below, printed the memory or reason behind choosing that specific lyric.  Details like this are great conversation starters and make for a memorable and personal event.

We were honored to be a part of this beautiful wedding!  Thank you, Anastasia and Dominick, and congratulations!

We love, simply love this marketing shoot featuring gowns by Tara Keely and Jim Hjelm, designed by An Affair to Remember and shot bywns by Kristen Weaver Photography!

This elegant beach bohemian shoot used jasper green, gold, pale blues, and natural elements like washed-out woods and garlands of spiraling vines.

For the wedding invitation and paper goods, we invoked the breezy elegance of the seashore. Sea-glass green and cream were our main colors, accented by gold. The invitation was enclosed in a textured dusk blue tri-fold folder. Inside, the invitation was printed on a very light speckled blue, layered onto pale gold, then layered onto a printed light blue backing.  The folder pocket was printed in white ink with the couple’s initials.

We mimicked the colors and materials from the invitation for the menus, but added wrapped and knotted cotton twine to contribute a natural element.

How much do you love the gowns, florals, and floating amber glass chandelier of this incredible tablescape?  Personally, I’d like to spend a day inside these photographs!

We’d love to work with you to create custom paper goods that perfectly match your wedding vision!  Contact us to schedule a complimentary design consultation.

Patricia and Armando were inspired by the hues of Monet’s gardens – dreamy lilac, purples, and sky blues. We loved working with them to create paper goods that coordinated with their vision for their breathtaking backyard garden wedding. Weddings Unique organized a group of talented vendors, including Kathy Thomas Photography, who transformed a private yard into a dream-like space.

We started with their wedding invitation, which a decadent, double-thick card of Pearl White cotton, letterpressed in lilac purple and charcoal gray on the back and front.  The back of the invitation was nearly filled with purple florals so that the letterpress created a luxurious tactility that caused guests to flip the card over.  Inside the spray of florals was printed a quote by Elizabeth Barrett Browning that was special to the bride because it was contained within a book of poetry given to her by her late father: “I love thee with the breath, smiles, tears of all my life.”

We created day-of paper goods in a traditional garden style, using champagnes, creams and light purples, which looked lovely against lavender-gray and bright blue linens. The ceremony programs, table number signs, and favor table sign all featured the same pretty, botanical artwork done completely in lilac ink. Sharp-edged squares, borders, and strong lines cleaned up the floral so that the look was not too saccharine.

We especially love to the escort card display… lilac tented escort cards displayed so classically in arcs on a round table.

We always offer our clients their custom monogram file to use for other non-paper purposes, like the GOBO that Get Lit Productions projected onto the pool and the draped backdrop of the reception.

This was an absolutely beautiful backyard wedding, don’t you think!  Remember to keep track of our current and ongoing projects on our Facebook page.
