The most recent issue of Celebrations Magazine featured the custom invitations we created for the “Weddings on the Water” giveaway wedding at the beautiful new Marina del Rey at Mission Inn Resort! This winning couple was so lucky to be able to work with some of Central Florida’s best wedding professionals to create an absolutely beautiful day.

The colors the couple chose were light pink and gold, with plenty of sparkle. After meeting with the bride for a design consultation, we created their custom invitation in a folding style with a custom-printed blush outer and gold inner. The invitation was printed on warm white, and we included a sparkling gold glitter monogram plate and cream grosgrain ribbon on the pocket, in which the enclosures were contained. The custom monogram we created was also used by Soundwave Entertainment to produce a custom GOBO for their dance floor.

{Inspiration} “Sweet as Tea” Southern Glam Styled Shoot

Earlier in the year, we were thrilled to be a part of a Southern glam styled shoot to promote the grand opening of the new Ocoee Lakeshore Center. We worked alongside talented event professionals, including Bumby Photography and perfectionist planner, Anna Christine Events, showcasing Southern sophistication in the ‘Sweet as Tea, Meant to Be’ theme. The array of soft green, buttery yellow, vibrant peach, white and gold gave the shoot a welcoming atmosphere.

The romantic color palette flowed through our custom invitations and paper goods as we used a folding invitation with a custom, delicate vintage floral pattern on the interior, and a gold foiled monogram on the exterior. Response enclosures were contained in a moss green satin ribbon-lined enclosure band with die cut monogram.

We carried the exquisite shape of the invitation over to the exclusively designed dinner menus that were nestled into a pocket of white satin on each gold charger from A Chair Affair. Adding a pale green border and a floral element, they matched the place cards that were attached to tea bags with complimenting ribbon. The table numbers were gold foil with a chic vine detail on white card stock.

For the drink and hors d’oeuvres menus, we layered the Southern selections on top of the floral card stock carried over from the inside of the invitations, giving a lovely framed effect to the display. The custom made Arnold Palmer take-home bar favors detailed the recipe for the Southern cocktail.

From the floral arrangements in white milk glass vases with a hand-picked feel, to the intricate detail of the five-tier wedding cake designed by Cut the Cake, to the whimsical flair of the ‘Meant to Be’ pennant-style banner, we loved the Southern elegance of this shoot!

We recently had the opportunity to sponsor the paper goods for the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs open house. We worked with a fabulous team of vendors to produce a garden-fresh event inspired by the colorful works of Monet. Lee Forest Design created stunning arrangements that looked as if they were created by the painter, and some of the famous pieces of art even decorated the cake! The event was perfectly planned and coordinated by Anna Christine Events and Bumby Photography, as always, did an outstanding job capturing all of the details of this floral-filled evening.

Our menus and place cards for the display table were backed with fresh garden green stock and printed with lavender ink. Garlands of purple flowers framed all of our paper goods. In addition to the display table pieces, we created the graphic for the e-vite, food and beverage signage, a sign listing the sponsors, and coordinating rack cards for FFGC.

{Real Wedding} Donna and Richard's Valentine's Day Wedding

Donna and Richard promised each other forever on a day meant for lovers. On February 14th, 2014, guests gathered for an outdoor ceremony at H armony Golf Preserve. The glowing bride rode in on Misty Blue Acres Carriage Company‘s all-white carriage drawn by two horses. Her warm smile greeted guests on the way to meet her prince. The elegant backdrop of nature, as well as the decor, was caught effortlessly by Sunshine Photographics. We were honored to be a part of this beautiful wedding by creating the couple’s invitations and paper goods.

This wine box was lovingly made by Rich’s parents. As part of their wedding ceremony, the newlyweds placed a love note to each other in this time capsule to be encased for 5 years. However, if they have a trying time before 5 years, they can unlock the box and read the notes to each other over a glass of wine from the bottle housed within. How sweet and genuine!

Another personal element was kept under wraps: the groom and his men broke all the rules by wearing superhero shirts under their button-downs.

The happy couple made their way down a beautiful aisle of fiery-colored rose petals and blazed a path towards happiness in their new lives. The vibrant orange and pinks of Lee Forrest Design‘s floral work cut a striking contrast to the woodsy setting. Our soft pink ceremony programs featured a delicate floral-patterned border and crystal accent for a little tasteful “bling.”

The fresh floral continued to their reception and romantic colors. The simple elegance of the decor was carried out through the classic centerpieces, traditional-but-modern (and delicious-looking) cake by Cut the Cake, and our cream and coral paper goods. We used an elegant script throughout the signage, including on the custom card box sign.

The couple’s chair backs were adorned with our custom signs that read “His Beloved” and “Her Beloved:” a reminder of their love and excitement to everyone who passed their seats. We were pleased to provide a creative combination of escort cards and favor tags. The favor was a slice of a traditional Jamaican celebratory rum cake. (The kids got brownies instead!) Our escort cards, printed with each guest’s name and table name, were attached by a coral-colored ribbon and a delicate charm of intertwined hearts.

{Event} Industry Networker at Cypress Grove Estate House

We couldn’t help but reminisce when we stumbled upon some photographs from the Cypress Grove Networker event in August of 2013, and we’re so excited to share them with you! The event was designed and produced by Tamuel Cowart and her hardworking team of planners at RW Events. The networking event was styled with southern hospitality in mind; Big City Catering incorporated delicious comfort food that helped every guest get in the mood to mingle!

We had the pleasure of designing invitations, escort cards, table menus, and sponsor signs with southern comfort in mind. We used burlap, plum jewel tones, light yellow chevron, and floral illustrations in our stationery for this event. The menus looked superb in this dining area, which was overflowing with sunflowers and greenery. Florists for this event included Windermere Flowers, Greenery Production, and Raining Roses. Brandy & Beau Photography captured beautiful images.
