The most recent issue of Celebrations Magazine featured the custom invitations we created for the “Weddings on the Water” giveaway wedding at the beautiful new Marina del Rey at Mission Inn Resort! Make sure you read the online magazine here to see all the photos. This winning couple was so lucky to be able to work with some of Central Florida’s best wedding professionals to create an absolutely beautiful day.

The colors the couple chose were light pink and gold, with plenty of sparkle. After meeting with the bride for a design consultation, we created their custom invitation in a folding style with a custom-printed blush outer and gold inner. The invitation was printed on warm white, and we included a sparkling gold glitter monogram plate and cream grosgrain ribbon on the pocket, in which the enclosures were contained. The custom monogram we created was also used by Soundwave Entertainment to produce a custom GOBO for their dance floor.

Last year, we were a part of this gorgeous garden-inspired styled shoot that looks like it was straight out of a fairy tale! The Garden Chateau‘s classic interior and atmospheric grounds set the stage for the planning team at Anna Christine Events to design a romantic wedding scene. Bright pinks, shimmering gold, and warm wood tones set a color palette that was dreamy and timeless. Wings of Glory Photography did a fantastic job capturing all of the details. Looks like others agreed: we were beyond thrilled that Beautiful Bride Magazine not only published the shoot, but featured it on their cover!

We used floral artwork on our invitations and paper goods to emphasize the garden theme of the shoot. Blooms in various shades of pink and red with bright greenery burst from the corners of our designs. The invitations were mounted on petal pink stock and backed by a sophisticated gold stripe with coordinating envelopes lined with the striped paper. A calligraphy-like script in metallic gold was used to write the couple’s names. We used this romantic script throughout our paper goods with other important text printed in a classic serif font.

Our double-sided keepsake menu cards featured the couple’s names, the venue, and the date on one side. The gold stripe pattern created a “picket fence” design that bordered the bottom of the card. On the reverse, the courses of the meal were written in metallic gold. Of course, pink flowers graced both sides of the cards.

We created other fantastic paper goods for the shoot, including escort cards, table number signs, chair back signs for the head table, and a “This Way to the Wedding” sign. To keep a consistent look, we continued the font styles, metallic gold, and floral designs throughout the stationery suite. Our escort cards had a little extra detail that made them that much more special: the inside of the tent cards featured the gold stripe pattern seen on the invitations.

Anna Christine Events created two different ceremonies and two different receptions: one indoor and one outdoor of each! We especially liked the outdoor reception, with its long farm tables from A Chair Affair, glowing candelabras, and market string lights. Of course, a garden-themed wedding wouldn’t be complete without an abundance of flowers! Flowers By Lesley did an absolutely amazing job creating a luscious environment, decorating everything from the banisters of the grand staircase, to a sweet tree swing, to the wedding arch. The candelabras were clustered with blossoms and the cake by Iva’s Cake Place looked divine with Lesley’s floral touches. The bride carried a beautiful beautiful bouquet of pink garden roses and cascading greenery, which was also seen gracing her blonde ringlets.

{News + Inspiration} Blush Pink and Gold Shoot featured on Ruffled

Blush pink and gold are hugely popular for weddings right now, so we were excited to show how this color palette could be used to create a romantic and glamorous wedding. This styled shoot was conceived and photographed by Kati Rosado Photography with design and styling by Emily Grace Design, and the results couldn’t have been more stunning. The combination of the gleaming metallic finishes, feminine pink colors, and the rustic setting of Up the Creek Farms gave a very personal (and enviable!) overall design.

We designed our invitations and paper goods on pale pink stock with gold foil printing. The invitations were a square folder design with the couple’s initials on the cover surrounded by a laurel wreath in gold foil. Instead of a standard plus sign between the M and R, we added a sweet heart shape. Inside, the folder was lined with a mod, circular pattern in gold foil. All of the important information was printed onto blush pink paper with a gold glitter border, and the response card was held by a pink fabric ribbon embellished with a monogrammed, die-cut circle.

Pink ribbon accents were carried over to the menus and escort cards. The die-cut menus were done in a curving frame shape with a sweet ribbon at the top. The escort cards were presented in combination with the macaron favors by Two Sweets Bake Shop. Guest names were printed in an elegant script with their table numbers in a modern sans serif font (all in gold foil). Notched blush pink ribbons ran horizontally behind the cards. A sign on the favor tray/escort card table repeated the glittery gold border seen on the invitation. Rounding out our paper goods were delicate place cards, charmingly placed in artichoke holders at each place setting.

The rest of the decor for the shoot also combined classic romance with modern chic appeal. The bouquet and floral work by Julie Miner Events looked lush, especially when placed on the vintage-inspired table from Crystal and Crates. Gold was everywhere, from the classy chiavari chairs from A Chair Affair to the amazingly designed cake by Creative Cakes & Candies.

We are so excited to feature this wedding! Melissa and John married in the Dominican Republic in 2012, and their day was pure magic. So much so, that it was featured in Destination Weddings and Honeymoons magazine. We are so grateful to Sara Kauss Photography for sending us these beautiful photos! The Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana provided a lovely seaside venue for the couple’s all-white ceremony and blush pink and silver contemporary, but romantic, reception.

Melissa and John were referred to us by John’s brother, David, and new sister-in-law, Kelly, whose wedding invitations and papers we had created the previous year. Both brothers and their beautiful brides had breathtaking destination weddings, and both couples were incredibly pleasant to work with.

We created Melissa and John’s paper goods to match their modern romantic wedding style. We used white stock with a shimmering overlay of glittery silver organza fabric for the invitations and paper goods. Soft pink was the couple’s accent color, so we printed the decorative touches in this lovely shade. Graphic floral artwork in light pink decorated the invitation and seating charts, and a motif of elegant pink brackets was used throughout the paper pieces. For an added special touch, we accented the invitations with delicate crystals and enclosed them in pink pearlized envelopes.

Some of our favorite pieces from this wedding are the seating charts and the chair back signs. Melissa and John had a large amount of guests, so we printed their table assignments onto five framed seating charts, each designed uniquely to coordinate as a group display. Keeping consistent with the overall look of the paper goods, we included the linear floral pattern and curvy brackets. The curved, frame-style chair back signs gave the sweetest message to the couple’s guests! For the bride’s chair, the sign read “I fell in love with the boy next door,” and the groom’s said the same about “the girl next door.” Just darling!

Recently featured on Wedding Chicks, this truly unique shoot depicts what it would be like to be wedded in a garden wonderland. Forget small splashes of color, this shoot embraces bright, vivacious hues of popping pinks and outrageous oranges to make a dazzling kaleidoscope on the greenscape of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. Perfectly planned by Mobella Events, this shoot was captured by the talented Rachel V Photography.

An absolute paradise for any sweet tooth, Two Sweets Bake Shop created a stunning dessert buffet complete with brownie-stuffed tulips, naked cakes, chocolate-drizzled baked pears, pina coladas, and adorably unique gumball necklaces. Everything Cake created not one, but TWO amazing and perfect cakes – one bright, bold and whimsical, and one colorful but quietly muted. Pair the out-of-this-world treats with the extraordinary floral by Lee Forrest Design and rentals and decor by A Chair Affair, and the look is absolutely stunning.

We created a layered invitation featuring bright orange, pink, and green botanical-style florals, colorful butterflies, and bees. To help tone the bright colors, we included a shimmering pearlized gold layer and a custom-printed contemporary-patterned backing in light blue. The suite included a custom envelope liner printed with the same blue pattern, and the response envelope was detailed with buzzing bees. Place-setting menus reflected the style of the invitation. We added an emerald green hummingbird, kept the pearlized gold as the backing layer, and affixed mini butterflies in a selection of bright colors to the top corner of each menu, which added a unique dimensional touch.

For a huge dose of color, we created an escort card display using die-cut “fluttering butterflies” in fuchsia, tangerine, chartreuse, lilac purple, and sky blue, printed with guests’ names and table assignments. We created a sweet “Meant to Bee” strung banner that can double as an aisle sign at the ceremony and a decor item on the dessert buffet or cake table.

One of our favorite details of this shoot was the confetti bar! We created simple die-cut signs for this super fun display of colorful puff balls, paper shreds, and sequin confetti. Seriously, is there anything more festive and fun than a confetti toss?

When we first met with Mackenzie, Billy, their adorable brand-new puppy Buddy (who is now probably bigger than me!), and Mackenzie’s mom, we knew this was going to be a super fun wedding! Mackenzie loved whimsical scripts and chalkboard-style layouts, with shabby chic florals, heart-and-arrow motifs, and soft mint, peach, blush, and coral. We started by creating and mailing their photo save-the-date, using their gorgeous engagement photo by super-talented Best Photography, and then followed several months later with their wedding invitations.

Their wedding invitation used a custom presentation of a landscape-orientation folder in slate gray, with the invitation mounted on the front. We used layers of mint and custom pinstripes to add whimsy and depth, and created a custom heart-and-arrow monogram as part of their wedding branding that we used across their day-of papers, signage and even on the dessert buffet tags. Once the invitation folder was opened, a wide lace enclosure band affixed with a custom monogram plate contained their response enclosure, and an information panel was permanently attached to the inside of the folder. Since Mackenzie and Billy had two wedding ceremonies in which different guests were invited to each, we actually created and mailed two versions of the invitation – each containing unique wording for the ceremony, reception, and travel information.

The place-setting menus and other day-of papers were designed to reflect the style and motifs we used on Mackenzie and Billy’s wedding invitations. We enjoyed working with the RW Events styling team to create escort cards that could be strung along their vintage painted shutters. We love collaborating with amazing other wedding pros to achieve results as stunning as this escort card display!

Mackenzie and Billy’s Bella Collina wedding was super adorable and executed flawlessly by Blush by Brandee Gaar. RW Events incorporated some amazing vintage vignettes – one of our favorites being the lemonade stand. Lee James Floral Designs did a stunning job with the ceremony and reception florals – we especially love Mackenzie’s beautiful bouquet! Two Sweets Bake Shop created an incredible and extensive dessert buffet (including amazing and unparalled Krispy Kreme Bread Puddings).

Dana and Justin’s Grand Bohemian Hotel wedding, planned by Weddings in the City, was classically glamorous and ultra-romantic. The bride’s gown and chapel veil were absolute show stoppers! We gathered inspiration from Dana’s grace and the couple’s chic style when we created their invitation, escort cards, and table cards, and signage. Their nuptials, captured beautifully by Scott Craig Photography, seem absolutely timeless.

We created a folding invitation for Dana and Justin with a champagne exterior foiled in shiny gold and accented with light peach Swarovski crystals. The interior of the folder was blush pink printed with a light pink custom micro-floral pattern. Their invitation was die-cut and their enclosures were contained within a custom-printed enclosure band with die-cut monogram. Their escort cards were printed onto blush pink and accented with a single crystal to create a colorful, but still soft, display.

Dana chose table names based on Italian cities – the country of her heritage – which we then printed in an elegant script and die-cut into shape. We also created a number of signs for the couple to help carry their wedding branding throughout their event – we foiled their “Mr. and Mrs.” sweetheart table sign, created signature drink signs for the bar, and a guest book sign for their very special framed photograph guest book.

Our invitations were printed on a Warm White inset that was layered onto Pearlized Gold, then onto an Italian baroque flourished backing printed in shiny gold foil on Radiant Orchid. A gold satin ribbon, knotted on the side, adorned the invitation. The round place-setting menus were also printed in gold foil on Radiant Orchid, and used a lattice pattern with fleur de lis. The round menus fit perfectly onto the gold-rimmed plates and the vibrant purple hue popped against the white china. The escort cards mimicked the lattice pattern of the menus, with each guest’s name and table number printed in purple.

It was a pleasure being a part of this glamorous styled shoot, and as always a pleasure working with all the talented vendors involved.

{Inspiration} Whimsical Blue and Pink English Garden Wedding

We were so excited to collaborate with some of Orlando’s best during our “Whimsical Garden Wedding” photoshoot. The shoot, coordinated by Mobella Events, was featured in September on Bridal Musings. Bumby Photography captured every romantic detail.

The shoot was inspired by an English garden tea party. With hues of pink ranging from blush to fuchsia and soft blue touches, Harmony Gardens was brought to life. Our stationery for the day included custom “This way to ‘I Do'” ceremony signs, which looked lovely in vintage-inspired frames. The intimate ceremony space was decorated with precious pink floral arrangements with trailing greenery from Fairbanks Florist and white church pews from A Chair Affair.

The invitation featured a lace-inspired frame border in light gray and a layer of striped paper with light blue diagonal lines. Pink roses, which also decorated the escort cards and table numbers, encircled the calligraphy-style script.

Our escort cards decorated a charming white gate which lead guests to a dessert table equipped with French macaroons, cakes, and tea. Everything Cake did a fabulous job pulling this look together.

Over the Top provided gorgeous lace linens to top the reception tables. We created menus with gold handles to mimic scrolls. The vintage china, gold details, and delicate centerpieces made this garden party fit for English royalty!

Our bride looked stunning in her lace gown from L.A. Bridal. With subtle makeup and artfully tousled hair by Marigold Scott, she was picture-perfect.

{Real Wedding} Donna and Richard's Valentine's Day Wedding

Donna and Richard promised each other forever on a day meant for lovers. On February 14th, 2014, guests gathered for an outdoor ceremony at H armony Golf Preserve. The glowing bride rode in on Misty Blue Acres Carriage Company‘s all-white carriage drawn by two horses. Her warm smile greeted guests on the way to meet her prince. The elegant backdrop of nature, as well as the decor, was caught effortlessly by Sunshine Photographics. We were honored to be a part of this beautiful wedding by creating the couple’s invitations and paper goods.

This wine box was lovingly made by Rich’s parents. As part of their wedding ceremony, the newlyweds placed a love note to each other in this time capsule to be encased for 5 years. However, if they have a trying time before 5 years, they can unlock the box and read the notes to each other over a glass of wine from the bottle housed within. How sweet and genuine!

Another personal element was kept under wraps: the groom and his men broke all the rules by wearing superhero shirts under their button-downs.

The happy couple made their way down a beautiful aisle of fiery-colored rose petals and blazed a path towards happiness in their new lives. The vibrant orange and pinks of Lee Forrest Design‘s floral work cut a striking contrast to the woodsy setting. Our soft pink ceremony programs featured a delicate floral-patterned border and crystal accent for a little tasteful “bling.”

The fresh floral continued to their reception and romantic colors. The simple elegance of the decor was carried out through the classic centerpieces, traditional-but-modern (and delicious-looking) cake by Cut the Cake, and our cream and coral paper goods. We used an elegant script throughout the signage, including on the custom card box sign.

The couple’s chair backs were adorned with our custom signs that read “His Beloved” and “Her Beloved:” a reminder of their love and excitement to everyone who passed their seats. We were pleased to provide a creative combination of escort cards and favor tags. The favor was a slice of a traditional Jamaican celebratory rum cake. (The kids got brownies instead!) Our escort cards, printed with each guest’s name and table name, were attached by a coral-colored ribbon and a delicate charm of intertwined hearts.
